Identity, 2022


Developed in collaboration with Meta Open Arts for Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, this identity draws from the modular logic of banchan—the array of Korean side dishes that structure a shared meal. The project considers it as a spatial and social system built through variation, repetition, and collective presence. Composed of thirty-five modular forms that expand, contract, and recombine into evolving configurations, the identity reflects the relationship between individual voices and the collective. The system was realized across printed matter, murals, and environmental graphics installed in Meta offices internationally.

Editorial, 2022

 Commissioned by GQ Korea for its annual Contents of the Year roundup, this six-page feature brings together a series of cultural moments from across the year. Drawing from the vertical orientation of traditional Korean writing, the layout develops a visual system of elongated illustrations and typographic forms that resemble the spines of books arranged on a shelf. Functioning as a compressed cultural archive, the spreads translate dispersed events into a single accumulative structure.

Each piece is derived from objects on my desk. Each object established the format and visual language of the corresponding work through scanned fragments taken directly from its surface. The piece follows the object's own material logic, allowing form to emerge from close observation and translation.

Campaign Identity, 2021

To celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Vans partnered with Get Lit to amplify the voices of four young Asian American poets: Jelina Hendrickson, Afrah Alam, Della Dragon, and Gordon Ip. Anchored by the phrase "We Will Be Louder," the campaign borrows from the visual language of traffic signage, transforming devices of direction into a framework for visibility, movement, and collective expression.

Aspern Seestadt is one of Europe’s largest urban development projects located in Vienna’s fast-growing 22nd district northeast of the city.&#38;nbsp;

For the development’s Beatification project, we were invited to design a mural spanning the 400m² wall along the Asperner Seepark. Our goal was to turn a gray wall into a work that can be enjoyed on different levels. We wanted to create something with a connection to water both physically and metaphorically, so we used a combination of visuals &#38;amp; writing. You can perceive the mural through color and shape, or you can walk the entire length and read about humanity’s relationship with water.

Nina Las Vegas


Branding, 2019


A poster series and visual direction for Nina Las Vegas’s show at the Curtain, in London. I wanted to emphasize the unique quality of Nina’s music with these designs. The neon colors are inspired by the electronic / dance music genre. Posters have ticket inspired elements, from perforated marks to divots to imbue a sense of nightlife. Each poster’s shape is modular; so they can playfully fit and stack. Each poster also abstracts progressively and intensifies in color to emulate the directionality of successive shows.

	Self-initiated, 2018
Animated poster series inspired by my commute between the NJ suburbs and NYC. On weekdays, I took the NJ transit bus and NYC MTA subway. I saw my commute as existential repellant: defined by destination and perfect to idly zone out. A pocket of time delineated by timetables, traffic, malfunctions, deer herds, road kill, etc. I approached the series loosely and serialized my daily commute.
