Heejae Kim is an independent designer, illustrator, art director and writer. He works in brand identity, print design and editorial illustration. He’s currently based in New York. Please email him about any opportunities or questions.

He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2016. Previously, he worked at Apple Music and Sagmeister & Walsh.

In 2021 and 2023, he was named an ADC Young Guns 19 and TDC Ascenders 4. Recently, he caught up with It’s Nice That about some of his current commercial and personal work. 

His work has ranged from brand identity, packaging, campaign visuals, mural art, editorials as well as personal projects.
