GQ Korea commissioned me to work on six pages for their Contents of the Year round up; featuring various cultural moments. For the layout, I was drawn to how Korean words can traditionally be written vertically. This inspired the idea of condensing these cultural moments into a shelf of tall and spine-like variety of illustrations and type treatments.
